Half a decade has passed since our inaugural event and we have welcomed some of the world’s most outstanding acts across the electronic music spectrum to headline Mixology. For our 5th birthday we’ve continued that trend and bring you a huge name to Peterborough! We welcome Viva Warriors head honcho, Steve Lawler to headline Mixology’s 5th birthday!!!
Steve’s discography spans across a plethora of credible record labels, including: R&S Records, Hot Creations, Drumcode, Harthouse, Cocoon, Play it Say it, OVUM, Sci+Tec, Knee Deep, 8Bit, Objectivity, Tsuba, Souvenir, Rekids, Be As One, Soma, Siesta, Leftroom, Skint and of course his own recording label VIVa MUSiC.
As the head of VIVa MUSiC (founded in 2006), the imprint became a platform for the launch of many artists’ careers. Leading players including Jamie Jones, Davide Squillace, Luca Bacchetti, Bushwacka, Livio & Roby, Simon Baker, Sante, Luke Solomon, Groove Armada, Peace Division, Ripperton amongst many others and of course Lawler himself.

The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ’s from around the globe. The exciting 400 capacity venue features a powerful Martin Audio Sound System and a cleverly positioned LED DJ booth which turns the whole venue into one intimate dance floor!
