To be voted in the Resident Advisor top 100 DJs is some feat and Mall Grab has achieved this breaking all kinds of musical moulds on his rapid rise to recognition on the world stage in 2016.
Previously working from the confines of his studio in his decidedly un-electronic hometown of Newcastle, Australia – now based in London – he is a clear example of the connective power of the Internet; proof that the web does have the ability get real talent noticed.
His music has been described as “mildly celestial ‘hella stoned’ introspections that pay homage to old Three 6 Mafia mixtapes as much as more recent astral experiences in house and techno.” and “a surefire purveyor of leg-stretching, dusty house material,” and we think there’s only more exciting things to come.
Stripped back yet emotional, his love for music and fun is obvious – whether it’s in his own productions, or one of his energy-filled dj sets.

The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire UK was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ’s from around the globe.
