Mixology is back at Red Room with CLOONEE after 17 months break!
It’s been eighteen long months since our last event but finally we can say that Mixo is back!
And we welcome a DJ / producer whose past few years have been nothing short of meteoric! Steel City lad Cloonee headlines Mixology on Friday 30th July!
Solid Grooves, Big Beat and Repopulate Mars are just a few of the influential labels Cloonee has released on in the past few years, garnering support from the likes of Solardo, Eats Everything and Fisher.
His ability to create impactful dancefloor weapons sampling some of the best 90s and 00s urban hits is second to none with tracks such as ‘Like What’; ‘Be Good To Me’ and ‘Lose Control’.
With a three year residency under his belt at the Tuesday Club and Tank in his hometown of Sheffield, Cloonee has also been a regular on Michael Bibi’s UK Tour in 2019 as well as playing at the likes of Fabric, Stealth and Egg. We can’t wait to have him down to join us on what will be an extra special night!
As a local guest we will have Levi Mann joining us. Levi sources inspiration from the uplifting sounds of the 90s, as well as a multitude of genres such as breaks, trance, techno & house. Levi’s melodic and kaleidoscopic sounds evoke feelings of nostalgia and waves of euphoria along with atmospheric & mind-bending textures.
Representing Mixology on the night -two of our three residents James Chan and Dan Clare will kick start the first Mixology in 16 months from 10pm! Dan who is one half of Maur has been going from strength-to-strength with exceptional productions that have taken not only the UK, but the dance music world by storm! ‘Set You Free’ has had numerous plays on Radio 1 from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and was Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’!
