Walker & Royce / Manuel Sahagun

NYC’s Sam Walker & Gavin Royce have been producing emotive, groove-heavy deep house to wide acclaim for the past couple of years.

Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus noticed one of their very first releases, a remix of SAARID’s “Future Lately”, on Nervous Records. He began playing it in his sets and reached out to the duo for more. The result was the Crosstown Rebels EP “You’re Not Welcome” and with that, Walker & Royce was launched into the dance music mainstream.

Since then, Walker & Royce’s music has been supported by Sasha, Maceo Plex, Pete Tong, Catz N Dogz, Danny Daze, Tensnake, Jaymo & Andy George, Maxxi Soundsystem.

Manuel is considered one of the exciting new talents in the house music scene. Influenced by artists in his family, he acquired a sophisticated taste for dance music during his youth. Having started professionally in 2001, Manuel positioned himself quickly as a House music reference among Argentinean DJs.

Besides his early residences at Pachá Buenos Aires and Superclub, Manuel has performed at big festivals like Creamfields and Miami’s WMC; has also worked in many FM radio shows; and has made international DJ tours sharing booths with top line artists, bringing his blend of house music to cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Quito, Tblisi and so on.

Not only has he versatility on the decks, but also Manuel is well known for his productions and his extended discography, having more than 50 releases with top appearances in Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi and DJ-Kicks to name a few. Recently, he has signed promising contracts with prime labels including OFF Recordings, Electronique UK, Mother Recordings and Akbal Music.

Manuel shows great diversity as a producer taking in deep and groovy sounds while keeping it fresh and original with clever samplings and funky bass lines.

We’re delighted they’ll be headlining Mixology on Friday 27th June and we look forward to joining you on the dance floor for what’s sure to be another stormer of an event.
