We welcome one of the past decade’s most respected house and techno DJs to Mixology on Friday 31st July: Subb-an!
Subb-an’s discography reads like a ‘Who’s Who’ of underground imprints with releases on Crosstown Rebels, Spectral and Ellum backed up with hits on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, Saved, Silver Network, Mothership, Leftroom, BPitch Control, 2020 Vision, Trapez Ltd, Immigrant Records and Noir Music.
His high caliber productions saw him chart as the third most prolific artist of 2011 on Resident Advisor.
Regular appearances behind the decks at prime clubs and festivals including Fabric, Panorama Bar, DC10, Warehouse Project, Womb and sets at seminal festivals such as Movement in Detroit, Glastonbury, Mexico’s BPM and Exit Festival for industry mainstays Circo Loco, Cocoon, El Row and Enter are a testament to how highly regarded Subb-an is in the industry.
Expect the Crosstown Rebels affiliate to work his way through a perfectly concocted amalgamation of house, techno and glitchy tribal-sounds.
The Mixology atmosphere is sure to be electric with one of techno’s most influential acts playing in the intimate surroundings of Red Room.
We’ll see you at the front.
The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ’s from around the globe. The exciting 400 capacity venue features a powerful Martin Audio Sound System and a cleverly positioned LED DJ booth which turns the whole venue into one intimate dance floor!
