We welcome back to Mixology one of the pioneers of the UK tech-house scene to celebrate our 7th birthday in style. Viva Warriors head honcho, Steve Lawler!
Steve’s discography spans across a plethora of incredible record labels, including: R&S Records, Hot Creations, Drumcode, Harthouse, Cocoon, Play it Say it, OVUM, Sci+Tec, Knee Deep, 8Bit, Objectivity, Tsuba, Souvenir, Rekids, Be As One, Soma, Siesta, Leftroom, Skint and of course his own recording label VIVa MUSiC.
As the head of VIVa MUSiC (founded in 2006), the imprint became a platform for the launch of many artists’ careers. Leading players including Jamie Jones, Davide Squillace, Luca Bacchetti, Bushwacka, Livio & Roby, Simon Baker, Sante, Luke Solomon, Groove Armada, Peace Division, Ripperton amongst many others and of course Lawler himself.
Joining Steve on the night our are ever present residents and founders of Mixology – Tom Skinner, Dan Clare and James Chan. They’ll be setting the pace with another expertly crafted warm-up set. Don’t take our word for it, Steve Lawler said it himself when he last played for us!
Completing our birthday line-up we welcome back Alisha for her home event in Peterborough! Since Alisha debuted at Mixology 3 years ago, she has consistently mesmerised dancefloors across the UK with her high-octane, rolling sound. Her sets have been clamouring praise leading to performances at the likes of Fabric, WHP, Egg & Ministry of Sound. With it being Alisha’s hometown gig, expect something extra special!
This is set to be another incredible night of electronic music in Peterborough.

The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire UK was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ’s from around the globe. The exciting 400 capacity venue features a powerful Martin Audio Sound System and a cleverly positioned LED DJ booth which turns the whole venue into one intimate dance floor!
