We welcome to Mixo on Friday 31st May an artist who always ensure that you’ll have a “lovely time”. A man whose productions have spanned 4 decades; was one-third of dubstep supergroup ‘Magnetic Man’ with Skream & Benga and responsible not only for one of the biggest tracks of 2016 with ‘Let Go Of This Acid’ but one of UK garage’s biggest hits. We welcome everyone’s favourite Austrian Filter House ambassador to Peterborough; the iconic Artwork!
If you’ve been lucky enough to experience Artwork before you’ll know how incredible his genre spanning, energetic sets are. Whether its techno, disco, house and everything leftfield or in between you can be sure that you’ll be absolutely having it on the floor.
The curator of ‘Art’s House’ he is also a regular at the likes of Pikes, The Warehouse Project, XOYO, Lost Village and Annie Mac’s ‘Lost & Found’.
Joining Artwork on the bill will be Mixology residents Tom Skinner, Dan Clare (Maur) & James Chan. Maur have been going from strength-to-strength with ‘Gospel Man’ receiving support from the likes of Detlef, Latmun, Richy Ahmed & David Guetta. Their unreleased banger ‘Freaking’ is sure to blow-up during the summer and you can be sure to hear it first at Mixo.
We’re also delighted to welcome back ‘Them Waves’ duo Joe Canty and John Marshall to Mixology. Their disco-fused warm-up sets are incredible and are a must see for any music lovers.
Another incredible night of electronic music awaits. We’ll see you at the front!
