DEMARZO
DeMarzo aka Marc Wormald who prides himself on a sound that is deep, provocative and eclectic has in the past couple of years shown exactly that with releases on the likes of Hot Creations, 2DIY4 & Noir. ‘Draw A Line’ on Hot Creations has been one of the tracks of the summer and has been championed by the likes of Pete Tong and head honcho of Hot Creations, Jamie Jones.
BLUFORD DUCK
Brought up on a diet of 80’s pop, Italo Disco and US house & garage, musically awoken by early 90’s rave culture and latterly driven by an ever growing desire for depth, quality and the unending search for the perfect kick drum; Bluford Duck DJ sets, live shows and productions combine all of the above to create a dancefloor hybrid designed solely to move your feet. The crisp production style is ultra current yet formative influences are worn like a badge resulting in productions packed tight with punchy drums and low subs but bursting at the seams with retro elements. With releases already signed to the likes of Noir Music and props coming from some of the scene’s elite, Bluford Duck is undoubtedly one to watch…
The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ’s from around the globe. The exciting 400 capacity venue features a powerful Martin Audio Sound System and a cleverly positioned LED DJ booth which turns the whole venue into one intimate dance floor!
