DJ, producer, label maker – Sharam Jey from Cologne, Germany, is a real all-rounder. He has become an international synonym for pumping Electro-house music that just can’t be categorized. Uplifting Funky sounds? Grooving minimal tracks? Breaks? Narrow, departmental thinking is definitely not Sharam’s thing. He is only interested in the quality of the tracks and if they can rock the dance floor. Especially in the UK, Sharam is an immensely popular DJ. But not only that, his calendar is fully booked with regular gigs all over the world. His latest record label ‘Bunny Tiger’ has delivered some of 2012’s biggest club tracks. SION
A young 20 year old producer based in Lancaster, has been making waves in the house scene over the last six months with a string of releases on independent house labels, from the likes of the North’s Nasty Funk and London-based Sleazy Deep. SION, real name Sion Elliot, had his talent and consistently strong output of work rewarded at the end of 2012, with a single and EP deal from Chase & Status’ multi-genre label MTA. Since then he’s signed to Kumasi Music for bookings, and has gone from strength to strength. With a host of gigs across Europe – including Ibiza – and a string of festivals appearances lined up for the summer, SION looks like he could fast be becoming one of the hottest artists of 2013.
The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ’s from around the globe.
